Abstract

TRI AMBARWATI, The Correlation Between personal selling With purchase decision First Media Cabel TV on citizens RW 03 Malaka Jaya Village, Perumnas Klender East-Jakarta. Study Program Of Commerce Education, Department Of Economics and Administration, Faculty Of Economics, State University Of Jakarta, June 2014. The research was conducted on citizens RW 03 Malaka Jaya Village, Perumnas Klender East-Jakarta., for three months from April 2014 until June 2014. This study aims to gain knowledge based on data and facts are right (correct, valid) and trustworthy (reliable or unreliable) empirically personal selling to the purchasing decision of First Media cable TV on RW 03 Sub Malaka Jaya, Jakarta Housing Klender Timu The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach. Population in this research is all on citizens RW 03 Malaka Jaya Village, Perumnas Klender East-Jakarta. populations patriarch on citizens RT 006 RW 03 Malaka Jaya Village, Perumnas Klender East-Jakarta, amounting to 40 people. The technique which is used in gathering the sample was simple random sampling about 36 people. The resulting regression equation is Ŷ = 12,48 - 0,887X. Test requirements analysis of the normality test error of estimated regression of Y on X to produce Lcount liliefors test = 0,101, while the Ltable for n = 36 at 0,05 significant level is 0,148. Because the Lcount < Ltable then an error estimate of Y on X is normally distributed. Testing linearity of regression produces Fcount < Ftable is 1,45 < 2,54, so it was concluded that the linear equation regression. From test significance regression produces Fcount > Ftable which is 22,12 > 4,13, meaning that the regression equation is significant. Correlation coefficient of Pearson Product Moment generating rxy = 0,628, then performed the test significance correlation coefficient using the t test and the resulting tcount = 4,70 dan ttable = 1,68. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0,628 is significant. Therefore we can conclude there is a positive relationship between private sales with purchase decision. The coefficient of determination obtained for 39,42% which shows that 39,42% of the variation of purchase decision is determined by personal selling.
