Abstract

FADLY KURNIAWAN SIDIK Relationship Between Brand Awareness with Purchase Decision Motorcycles Suzuki At Citizens RW 005 Village South Kedoya District of West Jakarta Kebon Jeruk. Thesis, Jakarta. Tata Commerce Education Studies Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, in July 2015. This study was conducted in South Kedoya RW 005 Village West Jakarta District of Kebon Jeruk, for four months from February 2015 to June 2015. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship anatara brand awareness by purchasing decisions Suzuki motorcycle at RW 005 Village South Kedoya , The research method used survey method with the approach adah kolerasional. The population in this study is the RW 005 that has a Suzuki motorcycle, amounting to 188 people with a population of 70 0rang affordable. The sampling technique used was simple random technique as many as 58 people. While the method of data analysis using regression and correlation. The resulting regression equation y = 95.60 + 0.47 X Test requirements analysis that estimates the error normality test regression of Y on X with ujililiefors produce Lo = 0.106 while Lt = 0.116, n = 58 for the significant level of 0.05. Because Lhitung (Lo) <Ltabel (Lt) is greater then the estimated X and Y have normal distribution. Significance of the regression test Fhitung > Ftabel produce (5.23) > (4.02) means that the regression equation significantly. Linearity test Fhitung < Ftable is (1.14) < (1.92) thus concluded that the linear regression equation. The correlation coefficient of Pearson Product Moment generating r xy = 0.292, then the correlation coefficient significance test was done using t-test Thitung > Ttabel and produced t = 2.287 and table = 1.68. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient 2.287 t count > t table 1.68 is significant. Calculation results concluded there is a relationship between brand awareness by purchasing decisions Suzuki motorcycle. The coefficient of determination obtained at 8.54% variation purchasing decisions (variable Y) is determined by brand awareness (variable X), while 91.46% of the variation purchasing decisions are determined by other factors.
