Abstract
NADIA FIRDAUS. the influence of organizational culture and principal leadership towards accounting teacher performance on vocational high school in west jakarta region Thesis. Jakarta. Economic Education Study Program, Accounting Education Concentration, Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University, 2019. The aim of this study is to know the influence between organizational culture and principal leadership on teacher’s performance. The methode that used in this study is survey with correlation approach. Data collected by survey using questionnaire. Data analysis technique that used are analysis requirement test, regression equation test and hypothesis test. The affordable population are accounting teacher on vocational high school in west Jakarta region that consist of 37 teachers. The techniques used for sampling is proportionate stratified random sampling with a total sample of 32 teachers. Based on the results of the study it is known that there is partial influence between organizational culture on teacher’s performance, where t count 2,401 is greather than t table 2,04523. There is partial influence principal leadership on teacher’s performance, where t count 4,772 is greather than t table 2,04523.As for simultaneously, there is influence between organizational culture and principal leadership on teacher’s performance, where F count 21,856 is greater than F table 3,33. The result of regression equation are Ỹ =56,698 + 0,086X1 + 0,111X2 with 60% determinant coefficient. This finding proves that the influence of organizational culture and school principal leadership has a positive impact on teacher performance, supporting the results of previous research. In a theoretical context, further research is expected to investigate deeper factors that influence teacher performance, such as competence, motivation, emotional intelligence, job satisfaction, and work discipline. Practical implications are important for principals to improve the culture of organization and leadership of principals in an effort to improve teacher performance. Based on this research, factors such as the organizational culture and leadership of the school principal must be developed by the Center and the Regional Government both for the West Jakarta and DKI Jakarta areas as a whole.
