Abstract
Ade Delima, 8105160328, The Effect of Work Motivation on Employee Performance with Job Satisfaction as a Mediation Variable in the Employees of PT Surya Toto Indonesia Serpong Unit. Thesis, Jakarta: Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University. 2020 This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation on employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable on the employees of PT. Surya Toto Indonesia Serpong Unit. This research uses a survey method with a descriptive approach. The population in this study amounted to 133 employees with a sample of 100 respondents. The model used in this study is a causal model or relationship and influence, or also called path analysis. To test the hypothesis that will be proposed in this research, the model match analysis technique used is SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) which is operated using the SMARTPLS 3.0 program. In this study, the detection of the influence of intervening variables was tested through multiple tests. The results showed that work motivation affects employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediation between the two. The original sample value of the influence of these three variables is 0.312 and the t-statistic> 1.96 is 3.816. Furthermore, the p-value is 0,000 <0.05, so the work motivation variable has an effect on employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediator having a significant indirect effect. The sobel test results get a value of 7,519, the value is> 1.96. This proves that job satisfaction can mediate the effect of work motivation on employee performance by 75.19%.
