Abstract
Annisa Claudia, 8105164492, The Effect of Work Stress on Performance with Social Support as a Moderating Variabel In Education Personnel UNJ. Thesis, Jakarta: Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University. 2020. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of work stress on performance moderated by social support in education personnel at Jakarta State University. This research takes six months, starting from February 2020 to July 2020. This research was conducted using the survey method. Affordable population in this study amounted to 343 employees. Based on Isaac and Michael's table, the number of samples in this study were 177 respondents. The technique of selecting respondents using simple random sampling technique, that’s sampling where each element that forms a population is given the same opportunity to be selected as a sample. For data processing, researchers used secondary data on the performance value of the trimester (April-June) for performance variables and primary data for work stress and social support variables using a likert scale research questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is the first analysis requirements test consisting of a normality test and a linearity test. Second, the classic assumption test which consists of multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity tests. Third, the multiple regression test. Fourth, hypothesis testing which includes t test, F test and coefficient of determination test. F test results, F count 122.624 > F table 3.05, this means that work stress and social support simultaneously have an influence on performance. T test between X and Y has t count -9,635< t table -1,973, it can be concluded that there is a negative and significant effect between work stress on performance. Furthermore, the t test between M on Y has t count 4.757 > t table 1.973, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant effect between social support on performance. Based on the results of data analysis, multiple regression equations are obtained, namely Ỷ = 99.074 - 0.265X + 0.233M + 0.007XM. The coefficient of determination test (R2) of 0.531, the effect of work stress on performance weakened by the presence of social support as a moderating variable by 53.1% the remaining 46.9% is influenced by other factors not examined. Keywords: Job Stress, Social Support, Performance
