Abstract

Bagas Agung Nugroho, 8105163871, The Effect Of Self Efficacy On Organizational Commitment Mediated By Work Engagement, Thesis, Jakarta: Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University, 2020. This study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy on organizational commitment mediated by work engagement. This study used a survey method with a descriptive approach. The population in this study amounted to 157 respondents with a study sample of 110 respondents. The model used in this study is a causal modeling or relationship and influence, also known as path analysis. To test the hypotheses that will be proposed in this study In this study, the model fit analysis technique used is SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) which is operated using the SMART PLS 3.0 program. In this study, a test to detect the effect of the intervening variables was carried out through single tests. The results showed that there was a direct influence between the self-efficacy variables which influenced organizational commitment and work engagement as a mediation between the two. The original sample value for the influence of these three variables was 0.567 and the t-statistic> 1.96 was 3.348. Furthermore, based on the p-value of 0.000 <0.05, the self-efficacy variable has an indirect significant effect. So it can be concluded that the self efficacy variable has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment with work engagement as a mediation.
