Abstract

HILDA HERENZA. 2020. 1703517051. Analysis of Paternalistic Leadership in PT Pertamina (Persero). Diploma Of Office Administration. Faculty of Economic. State University Of Jakarta. This paper has purpose to know about paternalistic leadership in PT Pertamina (Persero). This scientific papper will discuss the implementation of the paternalistic leadership style in Subsidiary and joint Venture Governance and Compliance division has been good and precise. The method used in this study is a descriptive analysis using the method of collecting data through interviews to the interviewee, literature review by citing the theory that supports this analysis through journals and books, and observations that are observing directly in the field, taking place when the authors perform Practical Work practices. From the results of the writing can be realized that the leader decision making at PT Pertamina (Persero) is not appropriate to be applied because it has a negative impact on its implementation. This is due to the negative impact that occurred due to the implementation of decision making, the employees in the division itself has been restricted by its leadership in conveying opinions. And on the application of decision-making leaders in this division a leader conducted decision-making by not involving its employees or individualist, this resulted in a deterioration of the mindset of the employees because it is always limited by the leader.
