Abstract

LINDA ROSSIANA. Correlation Between Motivation Of Consumers With Purchasing Decisions Smartphone Samsung In Student Administration Commerce Education Faculty Of Economics At The State University Of Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta: Education Program trade system. Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. This study was conducted for 6 months, starting from January 2016 to June 2016. The research method used survey method correlation approach. The study population is students Tata Commerce Education Faculty of Economics at the State University of Jakarta, which amounted to 68 students by using purposive sampling technique. To gather data variable X (motivated consumers) and variable data Y (purchase decisions), to use shaped instrument questionnaires, which were distributed to the students of Educational Administration Commerce Faculty of Economics at the State University of Jakarta, after it tested the validity of the content through a validation process that is the calculation of the correlation coefficient item score with the total score and reliability tests with Cronbach alpha formula. Results of the reliability of the variable X (consumer motivation) of 1039 and the results of the reliability of the variable Y (purchase decisions) of 1041. Test requirements analysis is done by looking at the regression equation can is Y = 51.638 + 0.3607X. Furthermore normality test error is estimated regression on X using Liliefors test and obtained Lhitung = 0.05 compared to 0:05 Ltabel at the significance level of 0107. then Lo <Lt. This means that the estimated error of Y over X normal distribution. While the linearity test produces Fhitung (-1.05) <F table (1.82), this means that used linear regression models. Significance test of regression of F (57.67)> F table (3.99), demonstrating that the regression means. Product moment correlation coefficient r xy yield of 0.68. Then proceed with the tests of significance coefficients using the t test. Results obtained are thitung (10:28), while ttable at dk = n - 2 = 68-2 = 66 and the 0.05 significance level was 1.67, meaning thitung> ttabel.Perhitungan coefficient of determination produce rxy2 = 0682 = 0:47. It shows that 47% of purchasing decisions are determined by the variation of consumer motivation. It is concluded that there is a positive and significant Correlation Between Motivation of consumers with purchasing decisions Smartphone Samsung in Student Administration Commerce Education Faculty of Economics at the State University of Jakarta.
