Abstract

SITI HERNAWATI, The Correlation Between Assortment With Purchase Decision Carrefour Mall Season City in RW 011 Kelurahan Angke Kecamatan Tambora in Jakarta. Study Program Of Commerce Education, Faculty Of Economics, State University Of Jakarta, May 2016. The aim of the research is to find the possibility correlation between Assortment With Purchase Decision Carrefour Mall Season City in RW 011 Kelurahan Angke Kecamatan Tambora in Jakarta. The research was conducted for seven months from October 2015 until May 2016. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The population in this research is whole citizens RT. 005 dan RT. 006 RW. 011 Kelurahan Angke Kecamatan Tambora di Jakarta which bought in Carrefour Mall Season City as many as 51 people. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. The resulting regression equation is Ŷ = 68,762 + 0,652X. Test requirements analysis of the normality test eror of estimated regression of Y on X to produce Lcount liliefors test = 0,076, while the Ltable for n = 51 at 0.05 significant level is 0,124. Because Lcount < Ltable then an error estimate of Y on X is normally distributed. Testing linearity of regression produces Fcount < Ftable is 0,75 < 2,08, so it was concluded that the linier equation regression. From test significance regression produces Fcount > Ftable which is, 38,65 > 4,04, meaning that the regression equation is significant. Correlation coefficient of Pearson Product Moment generating rxy = 0,664, the performed the test significance correlation coefficient using the t test and the resulting tcount = 6,22 and ttable = 1,68. It can be concluded that there is a positive and significant. The coefficient of determination obtained for 44,10% which shows that 44,10% of the variations of purchase decisions are determined by assortment.
