Abstract

ABSTRACT EVRIANI PRIMASARI. Correlation Between Self-Esteem With Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Skripsi, Jakarta: Economic Education Program, Office Administration Education Concentration, Economic and Administration Department, Economic Faculty, State University of Jakarta, Januari 2012. The purpose of this research is to Correlation Between Self-Esteem With Organizational Citizenship Behavior Of Employees At PT. Excel Metal Industry Cibitung. This research has done from during two (2) month, since October to November 2011. Research method using method with correlational approach, while the data from primary data. The population research was all of employee from PT. Excel Metal Industry Cibitung. While the research of population were 158 employee of all two division with 105 employee for sample. The sampling technique was conducted by propotional random sampling. Collecting X variable data (self-esteem) and Y variable (Organizational Citizenship Behavior) that using questionnaire instrument. Before that for X variable and Y variable it has construct validity test by validation process, that is correlation coefficient valuing score with the total score and reliability test using Alpha Cronbach Formula. Reliability X variable is 0,935 and Y variable is 0,893. The analysis test is done by finding regression equation, that is Y = 32,60 + 0,873X. After that, data normality test by using Liliefors Formula and the result is L count = 0,055 in significance level 0,05 and Ltable =0,086. So Lcount < Ltable mean that the mistake of prediction regression Y to X has normal distribution. For regression significance F count 39,71 > Ftable 3,91, showing that regression is meaning. While regression linearity tesst, F count 0,64 < Ftable 1,70, showing that regression is linear. Coefficient correlation Product moment test the result r xy is 0,528. Continued by using correlation coefficient significance test with t-test. Countinuing result is t count = 6,30, while ttable on dk = n-2 = 105 - 2 = 103 and significance level 0,05 is 1,67 and so t count > ttable. The result of determination coefficient test is 27,83%, it means that Organizational Citizenship Behavior variable determined by 27,83% Self-Esteem variable. The conclusion of the research have shown that there is a positive correlations between Self-Esteem and Organizational Citizenship Behavior of Employee at PT. Excel Metal Industry Cibitung.
