Abstract

ABSTRACT Isma Isyana. Correlation Between Burnout With Organizational Commitment On Nurse In Hospital Port of Jakarta . Thesis, Jakarta: Concentration of Education Administrative Offices, Educational Studies Program Economics, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta.2012 This study aims to obtain empirical datas are valid and trustworthy (reliable) about whether the relationship between burnout with organizational commitment on nurse in hospital port of jakarta which is located on the road Kramat Raya Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta. The research was carried out for 2 months from November 2011 to January 2012. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The sampling technique used is proportional random technique (proportional random sampling) with a sample of 65 respondents. The instrument used to obtain the data variable X (Burnout) and a variable Y (Organizational Commitment) is to use a Likert scale. Techniques of data analysis in this study begins by looking for a simple regression equation and obtained the regression equation Y = 112.29-0.248X, while the test requirements of normality test error analysis estimates regression of Y on X obtained by test Liliefors Lcount (0.05) <Ltable (0.109), this means that the samples come from normally distributed population. Significance and linearity of regression test using Analysis of Variance table (ANAVA) Fcount obtained regression equation (4.25)> Ftable (3.99) which states the regression significant and regression linearity test result Fcount (1.02) <Ftable (1.79) which indicates that the regression model used is linear. Hypothesis testing correlation coefficient correlation between variables X and Y do with the formula of Pearson Product Moment generating rxy at -0.251; this means the relationship between two variables is strong. Test for significance with Tcount -2.06 and -1.67 for Ttable. Because -Tcount < -Ttable, it can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between burnout with organizational commitmnet on Nurse in Hospital Port of Jakarta. The coefficient of determination obtain for 6.32% which shows that the variations of organizational commnitment on nurse is determined by burnout. Then it can be concluded that there is a negative relationship between Burnout With Organizational Commitment on Nurse in Hospital Port of Jakarta.
