Abstract

ABSTRACT ORIANA. The Relationship Between Work Family Conflict With Job Stress on Employee at PT JASINDO. Scientific Paper, Jakarta : Study Program of Economic Education, Concentration of Office Administration Education, Economics and Administration Department, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2012. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between family conflict with job stress of employees working in PT Jasindo. The study was conducted over four months from January to April 2012. The method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The study population was all employees of PT Jasindo, and affordable population of this study were employees of the division of human resources, corporate secretary, and the division of planning and quality control, amounting to 74 employees. The sample used by 74 employees by using a random proportion. Y variable data (Working Stress) instruments used in the form questionnaire. Prior to use, made of construct validity (Construct Validity) through the validation process is the calculation of the correlation coefficient score points with the total score and reliability testing with Cronbach Alpha formula. The results of the reliability of the instrument variable Y (Job Stress) of 0.767. While the data variable X (Work Family Conflict) instruments used form of the questionnaire was measured using a Likert scale. Test requirements analysis is performed by finding the regression equation obtained was Y = 36.34 + 0.476 X. The results of normality test error estimate of Y on X using the Lilliefors test and obtain Lo = 0.075 compared with L at significance level 0.05 is 0.112. Because Lo <Lt, then the variables X and Y are normally distributed. Testing the hypothesis by generating regression test significance F count (21.62)> F (3.92) which means the regression equation is significant. F count table liniarity regression test result (1.67) <F (1.90) thus concluded that the linear regression equation. Test Product Moment correlation coefficient r xy table yield of 0.515. Significance test is then performed by using a correlation coefficient of the t-test, produce t count (4.65)> t (1.67). Besides, the coefficient of determination of 26.49%, this means that the job stress variable (Y) is determined by family work conflict (X). The results showed a positive relationship exists between family conflict with job stress of employees working in PT Jasindo.
