Abstract

ABSTRACT RUTH LOISTER. The relationship between job involvement with the stress of work on the employees of PT. Intimuara Electrindo West Jakarta. Skripsi, Jakarta: Study Program of Economics Education, Concentration of Office, Administration Education, Department of Economics And Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2008. The purpose of this reaserch to describe the involvement of employees, employee stress and examine the relationship of work engagement (job involvement) and job stress of employees at PT. Intimuara Electrindo in West Jakarta. This study uses survey with correlational approach. Collecting data using interviews and questionnaire techniques. Subjects were employees of PT. Intimuara Electrindo at the Dep. Production. A total of 51 people by using a random proportion. The results with the t test and correlation coefficient indicates that there is a significant positive correlation between job involvement (job involvement) with job stress (r = 0.468, r> 0). This means that the involvement of work (job involvement) which will lead to high job stress is high on the employees of PT. Intimuara Electrindo in West Jakarta.
