Abstract

ABSTRACT YUNITA KUMALASARI. Relationship Between the Use of Learning Resources With Student Motivation Class XI Subject Accounting SMK PGRI 1 Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta: Economic Education Program, Concentration in Accounting Education. Department of Economics and Administration, School of Economics, State University of Jakarta. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the use of learning resources with a class XI student motivation majoring in accounting at SMK PGRI 1 Jakarta. The study was conducted over two months from the month of november to december 2012. This study uses survey correlational approach. The population in this study were all students of SMK PGRI 1 Jakarta academic year 2012/2013, amounting to 1010 students, and the students of class XI inaccessibility population accounting skills program totaling 104 students. Then, based on samples taken from the table given population sample of 78 students with a sampling error of 5%. The sampling technique used is proportional random technique (Proportional random sampling). The data analysis technique with regression and correlation test after test conducted on the data requirements of a significant level = 0.05. Data Analysis Techniques begins with finding a simple linear regression equation and get y = 129.12 + 0.21 X. From this equation to test the requirements analysis to test the normality of the error estimates of regression Y on X shows that the error estimates of regression Y on X is normally distributed. This is evidenced by the calculation shows that n = 78, Lo <Lt (0.0885 <0.1003) using the test Liliefors the real level (a) = 0.05. In hypothesis testing, regression linearity test results obtained Fcount <F table (0.75 <1.73), which can be concluded that the linear regression model. As for the test of significance obtained Fcount> F table (4.64> 3.97), which indicates that a significant regression equation. The test results by using the correlation coefficient of Pearson product moment values obtained rxy = 0.24. This means there is a positive relationship between the use of learning resources with the motivation to study at SMK PGRI 1 Jakarta. From the calculation of the t-test obtained thitung> TTable, ie 2.18> 1.67 indicating a significant relationship between the use of learning resources to students' motivation. From the calculation of the coefficient of determination obtained 6% so it can be said that the students' motivation variable Y is determined by X variable use of learning resources. The conclusion of this study shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between the use of learning resources with the motivation to study at SMK PGRI 1 Jakarta. Keywords: Resource Utilization learning, motivation to learn
