Abstract
NUUR ANNISA SYNTHIA DEVI. 8215132364. The Influence of Values, Attitudes, and Sensation Seeking to Intention to Visit Komodo Island in Motivation as Intervening. 2017. The objectives of this study were to: (1) empirically examine the influence of values on the intention to visit Komodo Island, (2) empirically test the influence of attitudes on intention to visit Komodo Island, (3) empirically test the influence of sensation seeking on the intention to visit Komodo Island, 4) empirically test the influence of motivation on the intention to visit Komodo Island, (5) empirically test the influence of value on motivation to visit Komodo Island, (6) empirically test the influence of attitude on motivation to visit Komodo Island, (7) empirically test the influence of sensation seeking on motivation to visit Komodo Island. The population in this study are employees who work in Sudirman area, Central Jakarta. The number of samples takes as 300 respondents. The number of samples is determined by Slovin formula that is as much as 300 respondents with purposive sampling method which is an employee who work in Sudirman area, Central Jakarta who has, have not, and planned to visit Komodo Island. Data analysed using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) AMOS version 2.2 and SPSS version 2.1. The result of hypothesis test show: (1) value has positive and significant influence on the intention to visit Komodo Island, proved by testing resulted CR value 6,398> 2.00 and P ***> 0.05 which means first hypothesis accepted, (2) attitude positive and significant on the intention to visit Komodo Island, proved through a test that yields CR value of 7,782 <2.00 and P ***> 0.05 which means the second hypothesis is accepted, (3) sensation seeking has a positive and significant influence on the intention to visit Komodo Island, CR 4.224 <2.00 and P ***> 0.05 which means the third hypothesis is accepted, and (4) motivation has a positive and significant influence on the intention to visit Komodo Island, proven by the test that yields CR value 4,925> 2.00 and P *** <0.05 Means the fourth hypothesis is accepted, (5) value has a positive and significant influence on the motivation to visit Komodo Island, proved by test that yields CR value of 4,295> 2.00 and P *** <0.05 which means the fifth hypothesis is accepted, (6) attitude has positive and significant influence on motivation to visit Komodo Island, proved by testing that resulted CR value of 5.224> 2.00 and P * ** <0.05 which means the sixth hypothesis is accepted, (7) sensation seeking has a positive and significant influence on the motivation to visit Komodo Island, proven by testing that yields CR values of 4.089> 2.00 and P *** <0.05 which means the seventh hypothesis is accepted.
