Abstract

SINTYA PARAMITA, CORRELATION BETWEEN STUDENTS PERCEPTIONS ABOUT CLASSROOM CLIMATE WITH LEARNING MOTIVATION STUDENTS CLASS IN ACCOUNTING AT JAKARTA 48 STATE VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL.Thesis. Jakarta: Accounting Education Study Program, Economic and Administration Department, Economic Faculty, State University of Jakarta, January 2012. This research is aimed to get valid and reliable data or fact, and to know more about the correlation student perceptions of classroom climate and the motivation of students’ learning class X accounting at Jakarta 48 Vocational High School. This researchhave been done for three months since October 2011 until December 2011. The method of the research is survey method using correlation approach, the sample is attained from proporsional random sampling. This research population is all of student at SMKN 48 Jakarta. The target population is the first class that consists of three classes that amount is 64 students. The Sample is taken from the error level 5% based on the table Issac from the target population wichis 55 students. The data of student perception of climate(x) uses primer data as the questionnaires with model a scale likert total of 32 questions, and learning motivation uses primer data as the questionnaires with model a scale likert total of 29 questions Analysis of condition test, which is normality error test for regression approximates of X on Y with liliefors test, results in Lcount =0,044, and Ltabel for n= 55 which level significant of 0,05 is 0,119, because Lcount<Ltabel then normality error test is normal distribution. The equation for linear regression is Y=36,08+0,678x. Significance regression result in Fcount>Ftabel, is17,85 > 4,02, it’s mean that the regression equation is significant. And linearity regression test yield, in Fcount<Ftabel is1,02 < 1,93 that can be interpreted that the regression equation is linear. Result of hypotesis test which pearson’s product moment show’s that rxy = 0,502, then significance of product moment correlation test whith t-test which yields tcount = 4,22 and ttabel = 1,68 it can be result that product moment correlation rxy = 4,22 is significance. Coefficient of determined obtain equal to 25,19%, it’s mean that 25,19% . the result of learning motivation is decided by student perceptions of classroom climate. The conclusion of this research that there is positive correlation between student perceptions of classroom climate and the motivation of students’ learning class X accounting at Jakarta 48 State Vocational High School. suggested teachers can create a classroom climate conducive to improving students' motivation
