Abstract

ABSTRACT Fardan Afriansyah 8215099335. Motivation and Perceptions Influence Customer Purchasing Decisions Against Danamon Lebih Savings Product in the Branch Office Pluit Kencana. Thesis, Jakarta: S1 Management Studies Program, Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, in January 2012. The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) description of the motivations and perceptions as well as savings products Danamon Lebih purchasing decisions, 2) the influence of motivation on Danamon Lebih saving product purchasing decisions, 3) the influence of variable perceptions of Danamon Lebih saving product purchasing decisions, 4) the influence of motivations and perceptions together towards a purchase decision Danamon Lebih savings products. The unit of observation is 137 respondents who have DanamonLebih savings products. The study design used was descriptive and causal. The technique of determining the sample using convenience sampling technique. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire with a Likert scale from 1 to 5. The results of data analysis showed motivational variables significantly influence purchasing decisions Danamon Lebih savings, perception variables significantly influence the purchasing decisions Danamon Lebih savings. From the F test shows that the motivation and perception influence on purchasing decisions. Data were obtained at 0.321 which means that the variables explained 32.1% of purchase decisions by motivational variables and perceptions. While the remaining 67.9% influenced or explained by other variables that are not included in this research model. Key words: motivation, perception, purchasing decision
