Abstract

ABSTRACT ANGELINA MARGARETHA. 8105119048. The relationship between work environment with employee morale at PT. Kuarta Putra Pratama. Jakarta. Thesis. Jakarta: Study Program Office Administration, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, University of Jakarta. 2015. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between work environment with employee morale at PT. Kuarta Putra Pratama. Jakarta. This research was conducted for three months from October to December 2014. The research method used is survey method with correlation approach. The population in this study were employees of PT. Kuarta Putra Pratama marketing, accounting, and finance, amounting to 95 employees, and sample as many as 75 people digunaka using proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used to obtain the data variable X (Working Environment) and Y (Morale) were measured using a questionnaire with Likert scale. Techniques of data analysis begins with finding the regression equation and obtained the equation y = 58.17 + 0,657X. Normality test results Liliefors produce Lhitung = 0.05 while Ltabel = 0.10. Because Lhitung <Ltabel the variables X and Y berdistrubusi normal. Hypothesis testing regression significance test produces Fhitung = 1.09 and Ftabel = 1.78. Because of F> F table, the regression equation is significant. Linearity test regression produces Ftabel = 1.78 while Fhitung = 1.09. Because of F (1,09) <F table (1.78) concluded that the linear regression equation. Test Product Moment correlation coefficient = 0.549 produces rhitung. Furthermore, the correlation coefficient significance test was done using t-test and produce tcount (5.61)> t table (1.68). Based on these results we can conclude that there is a relationship between the Environmental Working with Morale on the employees of PT. Kuarta Putra Pratama Jakarta. With a coefficient of determination of test results obtained 30.14%, variable work environment is determined by the spirit of the work, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between the morale of environmental work.
