Abstract

Ika Irawati, 2011, Influence of Professionalism, Work Motivation, and Organizational Commitment On Auditor’s Job Satisfaction (Studies in Auditors in Public Accounting Firm (KAP) Region Central Jakarta). Knowledge management about employee satisfaction has many benefits for the employee's own interests, organizations, and community. For employees, one of the benefits of knowledge management on employee job satisfaction and its follow-up is the emergence of a sense of belonging to organizations which will further encourage these individuals trying to improve their performance. The next benefit will be felt by the organization, namely to increase the productivity and efficiency through improved attitudes and behavior of employees. One form of information that affects the auditor's job satisfaction are professionalism, motivation, and organizational commitment. This study aims to determine whether there is influence of professionalism, motivation, and organizational commitment to job satisfaction of auditors. The population used in this study is auditors that still working actively in public accountant (KAP) region in Central Jakarta. The sample in this study were selected by using purposive sampling method, while for the accounting firm of investigators who respond to the questionnaire are 9 KAP. Analysis using multiple linear regression equations, proving the hypothesis by using F test and t test. The results showed that there is a simultaneous influence of professionalism, motivation, and organizational commitment to job satisfaction of auditors. From the calculation result shows that F count > F table is 24.257 > 1.72 and significance level of less than 0.05. The amount of influence or R2 (Adjusted R Square) is 0.641. This could mean that 64.1% of the total variation of the dependent variables can be explained by the model presented. Based on a partial test of professional and organizational commitment, significantly influence job satisfaction, while motivation was not significantly influent.
