Abstract

Human resources are the main driving force of the organization. The better management of human resources, the better the organization in the face of competition. Performance is affected by several variables covering compensation, competence, and motivation. This research was conducted in the CV. Khalim Cirebon. The purpose of this study (1) analyze the factors that affect the motivation of employees (2) analyze the factors that affect performance. The data is analyzed compensation and competency data on suspected influence the motivation of employees and data on compensation, competence, and motivation that allegedly affect employee performance. The data were processed using path analysis with SPSS 17. The results showed a significant variable compensation and competency affect the motivation of 0.730 and 0.249. Variable compensation and competency simultaneously significant effect on the motivation of 81.80% and a 18.20% influenced by other variables not examined. Variable compensation, competence, and motivation significantly affect the performance of 0.203, 0.083, and 0.727. Variable compensation, competence, and motivation simultaneously significant effect on the performance by 94.10% and by 5.90% influenced by other variables not examined. The total effect of compensation on the performance of the influence of the track by 0.734 and the total effect of competence on the performance of the influence of the track by 0.264. Thus CV. Khalim Cirebon needs to consider compensation, competencies, and motivation to improve employee performance. Key Words: CV.
