Abstract

This scientific work aims to find out about the office layout at The Purchasing Department Metindo Erasakti Company. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis, the data of collection method through the literature study and observation. From the result of this paper can be seen that the arrangement of office space and facilities should be adapted by taking into workflow of employee to get the shortest workstations as well in setting an office layout must be flexible, regulate the establishment of the ideal office layout so that facilitate the activities of employee and consider the location of the effective work space in accordance with the functions and types of work.
