Abstract

RATIH YUNI PRATIWI. 8105141468. The Influence of Self Concept and Family Environment to General Administration Academic Achievement in Grade X Student Class at Vocational High School 16 Jakarta. Script. Jakarta: Study Program of Economic Education, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, 2018. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of self concept and family environment to general administration learning outcomes on X student class at Vocational High School 16 Jakarta. This research was conducted for four months from January until April 2018. The method of research is survey with correlational approach. The population in this reaseach were all students at Vocational High School 16 Jakarta. Population affordability are students of first level class annouted to 206 students. The technique sampling has been used proportional random sampling technique, so the sample in this research was 131 respondents. The technique record of data used quesioner and documentation. Based on the analysis requirements test, data has been normal and have a linear relationship. Based on the classic assumption test, the absence of multicollinearity for Tolerance value of self concept and family environment was 0,265 > 0,1, and VIF value of 3,776 < 10. While, heteroskedasticity test with of Spearman’s rho, the significance of self concept 0,625 > 0,05 and family environment 0,435 > 0,05. Than regression equation that Ŷ = 4,026 + 0,472 X₁ + 0,589 X₂. Based on the hypothesis test was like F test and t test. First, based on the result of the F test with (Fcount > Ftable), that of 179,329 > 3,07. Second, based on the result of the t test with (tcount > ttable), that self concept of 4,292 > 1,978 and family environment 5,813 > 1,978. Based on the coefficien determination test, self concept and family environment simultaneously influence on learning outcomes of 73,7% while the rest of 26,3% influence by the other factors not research. It is concluded that there are significant influence between self concept and family environment on general administration learning outcomes on X student class at Vocational High School 16 Jakarta. The lowest indicator of self concept is a knowledge dimension. Therefore, teachers repeats th mataerials has been submitted. Therefor, the lowest indicator of family environment is physical. Parents should provide encouragement and facilitiesto improve academic achievement. Keywords: Academic Achievement, Self Concept, Family Environment
