Abstract

AGUNG KURNIAWAN. Effect of Compliance with Sharia Principles and Good Corporate Governance on Sharia Banking Reputation. Skripsi. Jakarta. Study Program of Economics Education. Concentration in Accounting Education, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, 2018. This research aims to determine the effect of compliance with Sharia principles and good corporate governance on the reputation of Islamic banking, both partially and simultaneously. This study uses a survey method with a correlational approach. The sample of 100 customers. The technique used is multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing which consists of t-test and F test. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that there is a partial effect between adherence to sharia principles and the reputation of Islamic banking. It can be seen from the results of data analysis that shows the t count (2.056)> t table (1.984). Good corporate governance partially also has an influence on the reputation of Islamic banks, this is seen from the results of data analysis that shows the value of t count (2.048)> t table (1.984). Simultaneously the influence of compliance with Sharia principles and good corporate governance on the reputation of Islamic banking. Can be seen from the results of data analysis that shows the Fcount value> Ftable (5.536> 3.09). here is a positive and significant influence between compliance with sharia principles and good corporate governance on the reputation of Islamic banking with 0.322 multiple correlation coefficient, thus the research hypothesis is accepted, then it is known that determination coefficient (R square) is 10.3% of the results The above research can be concluded that this study shows that there is an influence of compliance with Sharia principles and good corporate governance on the reputation of Islamic banking. Based on the results of this research was already written. So there are few advice based on this research, improvement the product knowledge of the customers with education provided by sharia banks or Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) with a socialization about the products, lags, and services provided by sharia banks. Beside that, for the next research can increase the variable which can influence the sharia bank’s reputation there are public relation, corporate communication, and optimalization costomer unit compliants. Increase the sample of customers and sharia bank also can give the view of the all sharia bank’s reputation in indonesia Keywords: Compliance, Good Corporate Governance, Reputation
