Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of variables of growth, size, cash ratio, leverage, and profitability to Dividend Payout Ratio in Banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions in Indonesia. The study was conducted at the Bank and Non-Bank Financial Institutions listed on the Stock Exchange during the 2010-2014 period with a total sample of 30 financial companies both Bank and Non-Bank Financial Institutions. The study was conducted using panel data regression analysis. Meanwhile, to examine the relationship betwen variables simultaneously used F test and to examine the relationship betwen variables partially used t-test. Results can be summarized as follow : 1) Variable growth negatively affect the dividend payout ratio Bank and Non-Bank companies. 2) Variable size is not significant positive effect on the company’s dividend payout ratio of Non-Bank and Bank. 3) Variable cash ratio positive and significant impact on the company’s dividend payout ratio of Non-Bank and Bank. 4) Leverage variable is not significant positive effect on the company’s dividend payout ratio of Non-Bank and Bank. 5) Variable profitability has significant negative effect on the company’s dividend payout ratio of Non-Bank and Bank.
