Abstract

SINTA DWI PUSPITA SARI, The Correlation between Self Concept with Learning Achievement Of Student At State Vocational School 40 Jakarta. Thesis. Jakarta: Program of Commerce Education, Major in Economic and Administration, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta, June 2015. This study aims to obtain empirical data and facts are valid, valid and reliable about •whether there is a relationship between Self-Concept in Learning Achievement. The research was conducted at State Vocational School 40 Jakarta, during the four months from March to June 2015. The research method used is survey method -with the correlational approach. The sampling technique used is simple random technique. The population in this study -were students of State Vocational School 40 Jakarta. With a population of students in grade XI is affordable Marketing and XI as many as 72 students. Then based on a sample of the Issac and Michael table, retrieved a sample of 58 students -with a sampling error off 5%. To capture data from variable X is used questionnaire Likert scale models for the Self-concept. Before the instrument is used, tested the validity first. For variable X, from 30 points after a validated this claim, there are 7 items that drop revelation, -while meeting the criteria or valid revelation consists of 23 items. Calculation of the X variable reliability using Cronbach alpha formula. The results of the X variable reliability of 0,922 which means the level of reliability of the instrument will show a high rate, while the data Y (Learning Achievement) from the average value of the first semester report cards in XI marketing classes and X Administration. The resulting regression equation is Y = 21,19 + 0.608 X. Test requirements analysis of the normality test error of estimated regression of Y on X with the test result liliefors Lcount = 0,055, while Liable for n = 58 at 0.05 significant level is 0.116, for Lhitung <Lcount then the error estimate ofYonX distributed normal. Testing linearity of regression produces Fcount <Ftable, namely 1,53 < 1,94, so it was concluded that the linear equation. From the regression test result keberartian Fcount> Ftable, ie 25,94 > 4,02, meaning that ihe regression equation is significant. Correlation coefficient of Pearson Product Moment generating rxy = 0,620 keberartian correlation test is then performed using the t-test and the resulting tcount = 5,91 and Ttable – 1,68 at significant level and dk = 56. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0,563 is significant. The coefficient of determination obtained for 38,43%, which indicates that 38,43% Performance is determined by the Self-concept study. The results of this study indicate there is a positive The Correlation Between Self Concept With Learning Achievement Of Student At State Vocational School 40 Jakarta.
