Abstract

Suci Hidayati, 8105150272, The Effect of Organizational Commitment and Job Stress on Performance at the Central Bureau of Statistics Employees. Thesis, Jakarta: Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University. 2019. This study aims to determine whether there is the influence of Organizational Commitment and Job Stress on Performance in the Central Bureau of Statistics employees. This research takes three months, from May 2019 to July 2019. This research was conducted using the survey method. The affordable population in this study amounted to 110 students. Based on the tables of Isaac and Michael, the number of samples in this study were 84 respondents. The technique of selecting respondents uses proportional random sampling, which uses proportional random methods. For processing data, researchers processed questionnaires using a Likert scale. Performance variable (Y), is a secondary data, Organizational Commitment variable (X1), and Job Stress variable (X2) are primary data in the form of a research questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is, first, the analysis requirements test consisting of a normality test and a linearity test. Both classic assumption tests consist of multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test. The third multiple linear regression test. The four hypothesis tests containing t test and F test. The results of the F test in the ANOVA table produce F count 117,806> F table 3.11, this means that simultaneously X1 and X2 are related to Y. The t test produces tcount> t table can be concluded that there is a positive effect and significant between organizational commitment and work stress on performance. Then, tcount 9.260> t table 0.677, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between learning motivation and learning outcomes. Based on the results of data analysis it was found to have a multiple regression equation Ỷ = 40.145 + 0.768X1 - 0.240X2. The coefficient of determination (R²) test is 0.774, that is, each variable X1 and X2 contributes an influence of 77.4%, to Y and the remaining 22.6% is influenced by other factors not examined. Keywords: Organizational Commitment, Job Stress, Performance
