Abstract

ABSTRACT RACHMAT GUMELAR, Correlation Between Career Development With Employee Job Satisfaction At PT. Mega Finance Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta, Department of Economics, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, in January 2017. This study aims to determine whether there is a correlation between the Development Career with Job Satisfaction at PT. Mega Finance Jakarta. This research was conducted three months, starting from November 2016 until January 2017. The method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The population in this study were permanent employees in the collection division and financial divisions totaling 62 people. The sampling technique used was random sampling technique. The resulting regression equation is Y = 65.41 + 0.276X. Test requirements analysis of the normality test error of estimated regression of Y on X with the test Liliefors produce L count = 0.10981, while the L table for n = 62 at 0.05 significant level is 0.11252 Because the L count < L table then the error estimates Y on X normal distribution. Linearity of Regression Test generate F count < F table is 1.06 < 1.82, so it was concluded that the linear regression equation. Significance of regression test produces F count > F table, which is, 4.65 > 4.00, so it can be inferred that the regression equation significantly. The correlation coefficient of Pearson product moment generating r xy = 0.268, then the correlation coefficient significance test was done by using the t test and the resulting t = 2.16 and t table = 1.67, it can be concluded that the correlation coefficient r xy = 0.268 is significant. The coefficient of determination obtained at 7.19%, which shows that 7.19% variable job satisfaction is determined by career development. Keywords: Job Satisfaction, Career Development.
