Abstract

Hasanuddin. The Influence of School Environment and Learning Interests on Student Learning Outcomes in Accounting in State Vocational Schools in South Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta: Economic Education Study Program, Accounting Education Concentration, Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University. 2020. This study aims to determine the effect of the School Environment and Learning Interests on Productive Accounting Student Learning Outcomes in Vocational Schools in the South Jakarta Region. The study was conducted for 3 (three) months from January to March 2020. The research method was a survey method. The population in this study is State VHS Business Management in the South Jakarta area, the outreach population is 6 VHS Jakarta, 18 VHS Jakarta and 25 VHS Jakarta, with a sample of Class X Accounting and Financial Institution students totaling 178 students. The sampling technique uses proportional random sampling so that the sample is obtained by 123 students. Learning outcome variable data is secondary data obtained from daily assignments and daily test scores. While the School Environment variable data obtained from the questionnaire using a Likerts scale amounted to 21 statement points and the Learning Interest data variable obtained from the tests totaled 22 question points. From the analysis requirements, the data are declared normal and linear with multiple regression equations Ŷ = 58,708 + 0,194Xଵ + 0,128Xଶ. Based on the results of data analysis, the value of Fcount (9.313) > Ftable (3.07), so that the School Environment and Interest in Learning together affect the learning outcomes. In the School Environment variable it is known that tcount (3.382) > ttable (1.9799) then the hypothesis Ho is rejected, so it can be concluded that there is a partially significant influence between the School Environment and Learning Outcomes. In the variable Interest in Learning known tcount (1.797) < ttable (1.9799), so it can be concluded that partially there is no significant effect between Interest in Learning and Learning Outcomes. The magnitude of the influence of the School Environment and Learning Interest simultaneously on learning outcomes (R2) is 13.4%. R value of 0.367 means a low relationship between the School Environment and Learning Interest in learning outcomes. Keyword : School Environment, Learning Interest, Learning Outcome
