Abstract

ABSTRACT KAENAH KARLINA. 8105123324. The Influence of Members’ Knowledge About Cooperative Enterprise and Quality of Service to their Participation. Skripsi. Jakarta: Study Program of Economic Education, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. July 2016. This study aims at identifying whether the members’ knowledge about cooperative enterprise and quality of their service affect their participation. This research was conducted for 3 months starting from March to May 2016. The research was conducted by a survey method with the correlation approach, involving 1242 respondents and taking 93 of them randomly as sample. There were three variables, namely X1 (knowledge about cooperative enterprise), X2 (quality of service) and Y (members’ participation) which was obtained from questionnaire by using likert scale models. Before applying, validity test was done by analyzing correlation coefficient for each item and the total score and reliability test using Cronbach Alpha formula. This calculation resulted in X1 (0,886), X2 (0,995) and Y (0,696) as reliable instruments. These results were then analyzed using SPSS 16.0.0. Firstly, the analysis apply Kolmogorov Smirnov Z method to conduct normality test, and resulted in 0,437 (X1), 0,360 (X2) and 0,254 (Y). the figures indicate a normal distribution. From multikolinearity test, tolerance figure at 0,818 (more than 0,1) and VIF figure at 1,22 (less than 10) indicate that multikolinearitas did not show a problem while from heteroskedasticity test, the figures are separatedly lower than zero (0) indicating the same result with . In ANOVA, F test shows that F (37,562) is larger than Ftable (3,10). As for t test about members’ knowledge, t was found larger than t table (5,005 > 1,98), whereas about quality service, t was found also larger than t (4,263 > 1,98). The last one was test coefficient of determination obtain result of 45,5%. In conclusion, there is a significant and positive correlation between members’ knowledge and quality service in cooperative enterprise in Koperasi Pegawai Kementerian Agama Jakarta Selatan.
