Abstract

ABSTRACT REZKY AVRILIATUN. Differences In Commitment Organization based age on employee PT. Techpac Indo Informatika. Script, Jakarta: Study Program of Economic, Concentration of Office Administration, Economics and Administration Department, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, 2012. This study aims to determine whether there are differences in commitment organization among employees who have a young age with an employee who has an older age at PT. Techpac Indo Informatika. This research was carried out for three months starting from September to December 2011. The research method used is survey method with the method of causal comparative approach. The population was all employees of PT. Techpac Indo Informatika which numbered 149 people. Observations and collection of data on employees was conducted by collecting data from documentation PT Techpac Indo Informatika. The sampling technique with a proportional random sampling technique. Samples were taken of 105 employes consisting of 31 employee who have a younger age and 74 employe who have an old age. Test requirements analysis through testing normality using Liliefors test at a = 0.05 level of significance, for the employee with commitment organization at a young age (X 1) was obtained L count (0.084) < L (0.159), while for employee with commitment organization in old age (X2 tabel ) obtained L count (0.069) < L (0.103), which means that both variables normal distribution. Homogeneity test result is Fo (count) = 1.07 and Ft (table) = 1.76 and then Fo (count) < Ft (table). It means that data have a homogeneous variance. Further test the average difference with the result of t count = 3.026 compared with the value t 1.66 so t count (3.026) > t (1.66). The conclusion of this study is the difference of commitment organization among employees who have a young age and old age on PT.Techpac Indo Informatika.
