Abstract

ABSTRACT PUTRI FEBRIASTUTI. The Influence of Tenure and Job Satisfaction Towards Organizational Commitment In the Employee of PT Tiga Serangkai International field Office Bogor. Scientific Paper, Jakarta: Study Program of Economic Education, Concetration of Office Administration Education, Economics and Administration Department, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, June 2014. This study aims to determine whether there is the influence of tenure and job satisfaction towards organizational commitment in employee of PT Tiga Srangkai International field Office Bogor. The research was conducted a month in May 2014. The research method used is survey method with the correlation approach. The research population was 85 employees of PT Tiga Serangkai International field Office Bogor. The sample is 68 Employees by using proportional random sampling. Data variable Y (organizational commitment) is a primary data by questionnaire using likert scale. While the data variable X (tenure) is a secondary data obtained from company and the data variable X 2 1 (job satisfaction) questionnaire using likert scale. Techniques of data analysis used SPSS 17.0. From the result of F test, found that F count (117,763) > F (3,13). This means that X 1 and X 2 simultaneously affect the Y. T test produce t table count of X is (1,980) = t table (1,669) and X 2 (6,677) = t table (1,669). Because t count > t ,it can beconcluded that there is a positive influence on the tenure and job satisfaction towards organizational commitment. Then a coefficient of determination of test results obtained 0,784 or 78,4% variable Y determined by X 1 and X . Based on the result of regretion model, regression equation obtained is Y = 36,653 + 0,112X + 0,497X2. The result of R2 of 0,784 which means that tenure and job satisfactioncan be explained organization commitment of 78,4% and 21,6% explained withanother variabel.
