Abstract

ABSTRACT ADMERY ROSSIE ULI WANDA. Correlation Between Organizational Culture With Work Motivation of MNC TV Employees. Scientific Paper, Jakarta: Study Program of Economic Education, Concentration of Office Administration Education, Economics and Administration Department, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, June 2015. The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between organizational culture with work motivation of employees MNC TV. This research have been done for 1 month since the beginning of March until April 2015. The method of research is survey method with correlational approach, while the data is got from instrument. The population research was all of employees MNC TV with total 1181, while the research of populations were employee at production division with total 275, with 152 employee for sampling. Variable data Y (work motivation) is used likert scale. Collecting X variable data (organizational culture) used likert scale, before that it had construct validity test by validation process, that was correlation coefficient valuing score with the total score and reliability test using Alpha Cronbach formula. Reliability X variable (organizational culture) was 0,894. The analysis test by finding regression equation that is Y = 52,70 + 0,432X. After that, data normality test by using Lilliefors formula and the result was L = 0,068 in significance level 0,05 and L table = 0,071. So L count < L tablecount , mean that the mistake of prediction regression Y to X has normal distribution. For the regression significance test and the result was, Fcount (59,75) > F (3,96), showing that regression was significance. While regression linearity test, F table count (0,73) < F (1,68), showing that regression was linear. The result of product moment of correlations coefficient test was rxy table = 0,534. Continued by using correlations coefficient significance test with t-test. Counting result was, t count (7,73) > t (1,66). It means that there were significance and positive correlations between organizational culture and work motivation. Beside that, the result of determination coefficient test was 28,48%, it means that work motivation variable determined by 28,48% organizational culture. The conclusion shown that research have positive relations between organizational culture with work motivation of employees MNC TV.
