Abstract

ABSTRACT IGA ARNANDA. Correlation Between Job Characteristics With Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) at PT Jasa Marga Kantor Pusat (Persero) Tbk Employees in Jakarta. Skripsi, Jakarta: Study Program of Economic Education, Concentration of Office Administration Education, Economics and Administration Department, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, 2015. The purpose of this research is to know more about relation between Job Characteristics and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) at PT Jasa Marga Kantor Pusat (Persero) Tbk Employees in Jakarta. This research has been done during three month starting from beginning March until May 2015. The research method use survey method with correlation approach. The research of population are employers PT Jasa Marga Kantor Pusat (Persero) Tbk about 882 persons, and population reached from this research is limited to employee in the general affair which have 127 employee. Respondent taken 89 sample according to level of error 5%, which use proportional random sampling. To capture data from the two variables used likert scale questionnaire models for Job Characteristics (variable X) and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (variable Y). The analyze data first was found regression equation, that is Y = 87,16 + 0,672X. And then, normality data test using liliefors formula and the result is L count = 0,082 while L table = 0,093 so L count < L . It means that the mistake prediction regression Y to X has normal distribution. Regression linierity test, F count (0,96) < F table table (1,82), showed that regression is linier. The result of regression significant test is, F count (41,13) > F (3,96), it means the regression is significant. After that, the product moment result of colleration coefficient test is r xy table = 0,567. Then, used correlation coefficient significant t-test, the result of t count (6,41) > t (1,67). It means that the research is significant and positive relation between job characteristics and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Based on determination coefficient test obtained the result 32,10% variation of job characteristics can explained OCB and 67,90% explained with another variable.
