Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to identify and obtain empirical data on (1) the influence of career development on organizational commitment, (2) the influence of work environment on organizational commitment (3) the influence of career development on job satisfaction, (4) the influence of work environment on job satisfaction, 5) the influence of organizational commitment to job satisfaction, (6) the influence of career development on job satisfaction mediated by organizational commitment, (7) the influence of the work environment on job satisfaction mediated by organizational commitment. This study also uses Structural Equation Model (SEM) - Lisrel 8.80. This study used a simple random sampling with a total of 114 employees of PT. Jaminan Pembiayaan Askrindo Syariah, Central Jakarta. The findings of this study indicate that all hypotheses accepted, such as Career Development has a positive and significant impact on Organizational Commitment, has an estimated value of 0.29; Work Environment has a positive and significant impact on Organizational Commitment, has an estimated value of 0.33; Career Development has a positive and significant impact on Job Satisfaction, has an estimated value of 0.11; Work Environment has a positive and significant impact on Job Satisfaction, has an estimated value of 0.13; Organizational Commitment has a positive and significant impact on Job Satisfaction, has an estimated value of 0.38; Career Development has a positive and significant impact on Job Satisfaction through Organizational Commitment, having an estimated value of 0.31; Work Environment has a positive and significant impact on Job Satisfaction through Organizational Commitment, has an estimated value of 0.56.
