Abstract

PUTRI NANDA NURSANAH, The Correlation Between Promotion With Job Satisfaction at PT. Aneka Sentratama Cahaya Optima (ASCO), Jakarta. Study Program Of Commerce Education, Department Of Economics and Administration, Faculty Of Economics, State University Of Jakarta, June 2014. The pupose of research is for knowing the correlation between promotion with job satisfaction. The research was conducted at PT. Aneka Sentratama Cahaya Optima (ASCO), for three months from March 2014 until June 2014. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach. Population in this research is all of PT. Aneka Sentratama Cahaya Optima (ASCO) employees, where as the possible populations who employees of Finance & Accounting PT. Aneka Sentratama Cahaya Optima (ASCO), amounting to 36 people. The technique which is used in gathering the sample was simple random sampling about 32 people. The resulting regression equation is Ŷ = 55,14 + 0,43X. Test requirements analysis of the normality test error of estimated regression of Y on X to produce Lcount liliefors test = 0,0778, while the Ltable for n = 32 at 0,05 significant level is 0,157. Because the Lcount < Ltable then an error estimate of Y on X is normally distributed. Testing linearity of regression produces Fcount < Ftable is 1,58 < 2,34, so it was concluded that the linear equation regression. From test significance regression produces Fcount > Ftable which is 18,05 > 4,17, meaning that the regression equation is significant. Correlation coefficient of Pearson Product Moment generating rxy = 0,613, then performed the test significance correlation coefficient using the t test and the resulting tcount = 4,248 dan ttable = 1,69. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0,613 is significant. The coefficient of determination obtained for 37,56% which shows that 37,56% of the variation of Job Satisfaction is determined by the Promotion. Conclusions of this study is that there is a positive Correlation Between Promotion With Job Satisfaction at PT. Aneka Sentratama Cahaya Optima (ASCO), Jakarta.
