Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF PLACEMENT, CAREER DEVELOPMENT ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE WITH JOB SATISFACTION AS AN INTERVENING VARIABLE IN THE BOARD OF EDUCATION RESEARCH AND SOCIAL EXTENSION (BP3S) RI MINISTRY OF SOCIAL AFFAIRS Nur Aisyah Dr. I Ketut R Sudiarditha, M.Si (Pembimbing I) Dr. Karuniana Dianta A.S, S.IP, ME (Pembimbing II) Abstract The purpose of this study ware: 1). To find out and analyze the direct influence of placement and career development on the performance of the Ministry of Social Affairs's Education, Research and Social Counseling Agency. 2). To find out and analyze the influence of placement and career development on job satisfaction at the Ministry of Social Affairs's Education, Research and Social Counseling Agency. 3). To find out and analyze job satisfaction has an effect on the performance of employees 4). To find out and analyze the influence of placement and career development on employee performance which is mediated by job satisfaction. The population is employees of the Center for Social Education, Research and Extension (BP3S), Ministry of Social RI, about 230 employees from each stratum were taken proportionally with sample size with a sample of 146 employees with a 5% allowance using Slovin's opinion. Sample collection in this study was conducted using stratified random sampling. The technique of collecting data uses questionnaires. To test the instruments used in extracting data in this study, it is necessary to test the validity and reliability of the instrument using the normality test data analysis method and path analysis. Data analysis using SEM with AMOS 24 program. The results of the analysis are: (1) placement has a positive and significant direct effect on employee performance, (2) career development has a direct positive and significant effect on employee performance, (3) placement has a positive and significant direct effect on job satisfaction, (4) influential career development positive and significant direct effect on job satisfaction, (5) job satisfaction has a positive and significant direct effect on performance, (6) placement has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction, (7) career development has a positive and significant effect on performance through job satisfaction Keywords: Placement, Career Development, Job Satisfaction and Employee Performance
