Abstract

LARASATI INDAH LESTARI. 8105154100. Impact of Career Development and Otganizational Culture towards Work Satisfaction In Pt Polytama Propindo Jakarta. Script. Jakarta: Economic Education Studies Program, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2019. This study is aims to determine the impact of Career Development and Organizational Culture towards Work Satisfaction in PT Polytama Propindo Jakarta. This research was conducted starting from February 2019 to July 2019. The method of this research used was a survey method with a correlational approach. The population in this research were all employee at PT Polytama Propindo, amounting to 120 employee. The sample of this research was 89 employee. The technuiqe used is a proportional random sampling. The Work Satisfaction variabel (Y), Career Development (X1) and Organizational Culture (X2) is primary data using a Likert Scale. Best on test requirements analysis, data has been normally distributed and has a linear relationship. Based on classic asumption test, in the multikollinearity test there is a tolerance value of Career Development variable and Organizational Culture variable is 0,782 > 0,1 and VIF value is 1,279 < 10. For the heteroskedastisitas test result throught the Spearman’s rho test, the significant value of Career Development is 0.941 > 0,05 and Organizational Culture 0,544 > 0,05. The regretion equation test obtained is Ŷ = 12,905 + 0,252X1 + 0,549X2. For the result of the F test base on ANOVA table, obtain Fvalue of 19,428 > Ftable 3,10 wich means Career Development and Organizational Culture simultaneously have a positive effect on Work Satisfaction. While the result of the t test obtained tvalue of Career Development amounted to 2,007 > ttabel 1,987, means Career Development affect Work Satisfaction. While tvalue of Organizational Culture is 4,282 > ttabel 1,987 means that Organizational Culture effect on Work Satisfaction. Fir the test of coefficient determination is 0,311 means that there are an impact of independent variable named Career Development and Organizational Culture towards dependent variable named Work Satisfaction of 31.1% and remaining 68,9% is influence by other factor that not examined.
