Abstract
ROSMA MUNA MUSDALIFAH. 8105123286. The Effects of Training and Work Experience on Employee Performance of PT Sinar Mas Agro resources and Technology (PT SMART Tbk). Thesis, Jakarta: Economic Education Study Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2019. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between training and work experience on the performance of employees of PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology (PT SMART Tbk ). The study is conducted commencing began in May until July 2019. The research method used is a survey method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study are all employees of PT SMART Tbk with an affordable population in the accounting division with a total of 60 employees. And researchers use sampling techniques by random or commonly called simple random sampling. The instruments used to obtain data variables X1 (Training), X2 (Work Experience) and Y variables (Employee Performance) were measured using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques in this study using SPSS 16.0. F test results in the ANOVA table produces F count 167.718> F table 3.18, this means that simultaneously X1 and X2 affect Y. T test produces Sig. X1 of 0.082> 0.05, it can be concluded that the first hypothesis is rejected, which means there is no effect of training (X1) on employee performance (Y). And the results of t count X1 of 1.773 <T table 2.006 so the hypothesis is rejected. In conclusion, X1 simultaneously has no effect on Y. Then the T Test also produces a Sig. X2 of 0,000 <0.05, it can be concluded that the second hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is an influence of work experience (X2) on employee performance (Y). And the results of t count X2 of 12.783> T table 2.006 so the hypothesis is accepted. In conclusion, X2 simultaneously influences Y. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between training and work experience on employee performance with a regression equation Y ̂ = -31,625 + 0.084X_1 + 0.416X_2. Meanwhile, the coefficient of determination for R2 is 86.6% while the remaining 13.4% is influenced by other factors not examined. Keywords: Training, Work Experience and Employee Performance
