Abstract

THE EFFECT OF ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE AND EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT TO OCB WITH MOTIVATION AS INTERVENING VARIABLE IN ELEVATOR COMPANY IN JAKARTA Diperanata Sinulingga Student of Magister Management, State University of Jakarta (UNJ) Email : nata.dipra77@gmail.com February, 2020 ABSTRACT The study examines the effect of organizational climate, and employee engagement on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) with motivation as intervening variable. The unit of analysis in this study is employees at New Equipment Business (NEB) division, PT. KONE Indo Elevator, Jakarta. The research approach is a quantitative approach through the method of data collection using questionnaires. The sample was totally 110 respondents. Research using analysis of Structural Equation Model (SEM) that run through Smart PLS Version 3.2.8 software in seeing the influence of exogenous variables on endogenous variables. From the results of the study note that employee engagement has a positive effect on motivation, and also a positive effect on OCB. Besides that employee engagement influences OCB through motivation as an intervening variable. While the organizational climate has no effect, both on motivation and OCB. The organizational climate also does not affect OCB through motivation as an intervening variable.
