Abstract

ABSTRACT ROSYANA. Correlation Between Work-Family Conflict With Absenteeism on Employee of Indonesian Institute of Sciences Sasana Widya Sarwono Jakarta. Skripsi, Jakarta: Economics Education Program Study, Office Administration Education Concentration, Economics And Administration Department, Economic Faculty, Jakarta State University, 2012. The purpose of this research is to get a valid and reliable data or fact, to know more the correlation between work-family conflict with absenteeism on PT. Univesal Nashary Tata Laksana’s employees. The research healed at PT. Univesal Nashary Tata Laksana. Since December 2012 until March 2013. The method of research use survey method with correlation approach. The population research was all of employees with total 250 employees. The reached population about 184 Employees, with 65 employees for sampling and used proportional random sampling. Collecting X variable data (work-family conflict) using likert scale model questionnaire. Before that it has content validity test by validation process, that is correlation coefficient valuing score with the total score and reliability test using Alpha Cronbach formula. The analysis test by finding regression equation, that is . While Y= 0.71+ 0.144X after that data normally test by using Liliefors formula and result is Lcount = 0,066 in significant level 0.05 and Ltable =0,109 so Lcount > Ltable . It mean that the mistake of prediction regression Y to X has normal distribution. For regression significant test and result is Fcount 1,10 < Ftable 1,84. showing that , it has significance regression. While regression is linearity test, Fcount 0,85 < F table 1,84, showing that regression is linear. The result of product moment of correlation coefficient test, is r xy = 0,448 continued by using correlation coefficient significance test with t-test. Counting result, tcount =3,98 while ttable = 1,68 and so, tcount > ttable . It means that are significance correlation between work-family conflict with absenteeism. Besides that, the result f determination coefficient is 20,08%, it means that absenteeism variable determined by 20,08% work-family conflict variable. The conclusion of the research have shown that there is a correlation between work-family conflict with absenteeism on employee of PT. Univesal Nashary Tata Laksana.
