Abstract

ABSTRACT RIFQI ROSYADI, Correlation Between Affective Commitment with Turnover Intention Of PT Astra Daihatsu In North Jakarta. Skripsi. Jakarta : Concentrate of Office Administration Education, Economic and Administration Department, Economic Faculty. State University of Jakarta, July 2011. The aim of this research is to obtain empirical data, valid and reliable fact concerning wheter or not there is correlation between Affective Commitment and Turnover Intention. This research conducted in PT Astra Daihatsu Jakarta. During two months counted from June up to July 2011. The research used survey method with approach of correlation. Technique intake of used sample that is stratified random sampling, the population were fix employee in Astra Daihatsu In Jakarta amount 380 people. From the population 70 people amount reached the taken as sample amount 58 people. Data analysis by using correlation technique of product moment of pearson. After to test clauses of analysis before hand. To get data from two variables, researcher using guttman and likert scale model for Affective commitment (X) and Turnover Intention (Y). For variable X, from 38 statements which had validated, 30 statements were validated and 8 statements were drop. For variable Y, from 38 statements which had validated, 30 statements were validated and 8 statements were drop. The calculation reliability of Y variable were using alpha cronbach method, variable Y is 0,910 and variable X is 0,929, this proof that the instrument were valid and reliable. Analysis of condition test, which is normality error test for regression approximates of X on Y with liliefors test, results in L = 0,074 , and L tabel for n = 58 which level significant of 0,05 is 0,1163, because L < L then normality error test is normal distribution. The equation for linear regression is Y = 132,25 – 0,343X. Significance regression result in F tabel is 2,65 > 1,02, it’s mean that the regression equation is significant. And linearity regression test yield, in F count < F is 0,60 < 1,87 that can be interpreted that the regression equation is linear. Result of hypotesis test which pearson’s product moment show’s that r XY tabel, = -0.213, then significance of product moment correlation test whith t-test which yields t count = -1,63 and t = -1,671 at significance level of 0,05 and dk=56, it can be result that product moment correlation r tabel = -0.213 is significanct. Coefficient of determined obtain equal to 4,52 %, its mean that 4,52 % variation of turnover intention determined by affective commitment. Result of the calculation concludes that there is negative correlation between affective commitment and turnover intention of Astra Daihatsu North Jakarta.
