Abstract

ABSTRACT DEPININGRUM. The Correlation Between Job Satisfaction with Organizational Commitment of Employee at Koperasi Pegawai Pos Indonesia (KOPPOSINDO) Central Jakarta. Skripsi. Concentration in Cooperation Economic Education, Study Program of Economic Education, Department of Economic and Administration, Faculty of Economic. State University of Jakarta. May 2014. The purpose of this research is to get a valid and reliable data or fact to know the correlation between job satisfaction with organizational commitment of employee at Koperasi Pegawai Pos Indonesia (KOPPOSINDO) central Jakarta. This research uses the quantitative research with survey method and a correlation approach. The data of job satisfaction got from the result of questionnaire. The sampling technique used in this research is the census. The population research was all of employee at Koperasi Pegawai Pos Indonesia with total 50 employees. The analysis test by finding regression equation, that is Y = 37,54 + 0,553X. After that data normality test by using Liliefors formula and the result is L (0,052 < 0,0125). It shows the data had been normally distributed. For linearity regression test, the result is Fh < F (0,75 < 3,34) showing that regression is linear. While for the regression significance test, the result is Ft (24,05 > 4,04), it has significance regression. The result of correlation coefficient test of product moment by Pearson is rxy h = 0,578. Which it means there is a positive correlation between job satisfaction with organizational commitment. The calculation of t-test showed that taccount > to < L > Ft ttable, 4,90 < 1,68. It shows there is a significance correlation between job satisfaction with organizational commitment of employee at Koperasi Pegawai Pos Indonesia Central Jakarta. The calculation of determination coefficient test results 33,38. Can be concluded this research shows that there is a positive and significance relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment of employee at Koperasi Pegawai Pos Indonesia Central Jakarta. Job satisfaction is one of the factors affecting organizational commitment so hopefully employees can earn a maximum of organizational commitment. For researchers are expected to develop this research further by using more samples or by adding another variable that becomes one of the factors that organizational commitment.
