Essay, Jakarta: Office Administration Program Educational Studies, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. Of 2012. The research aims to determine whether there is influence between Interpersonal Communication and Emotional Intelligence to Employee Performance in PT. Asuransi Raya. The research was conducted at PT. Asuransi Raya insurance for two months from June to July 2012. The method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The study population was all employees of PT. Kingdom insurance, amounting to 102 people. Affordable population in this study were 75 employees from all units contained in the company. Samples were taken by using proportional random (proportional random sampling).Y variable data in this study is secondary data. Data variables X1 (Interpersonal Communication) were measured using test score results of the primary data, through the measurements obtained from the respondents, a questionnaire with 19 questions the validity of the test number 0.408 ... and reliability test 0.72. While the variable data X2 (Emotional Intelligence) is obtained from the test score results using the replica questionnaire Wong and Law Emotional Intelligence Scale (WLEIS) consisting of 16 questions for each indicator item. 0.83 for self-awareness, social sensitivity of 0.77, 0.79 for social skills and emotional management of 0.83. While the data Y (Employee Performance) using secondary data from company Test requirements analysis is used to find the regression equation obtained is Y = 0.417 Structure X1 + X2 + 0.324 0.614 0.614 e2 and R2yx2x1 = X1 where X2 = 0.397 + 0.842 = 0.158 e1 and R2x2x1. The results of normality test significance value of employee performance (Y), interpersonal communication (X1) and emotional intelligence (X2) is 0.200 which are all more than the 0.05 H0 accepted then the data means the data are normally distributed. The results of both hypothesis test variables of interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence) simultaneously have an influence on employee performance, as seen from Fhitung (18.555)> Ftabel (3.15). Then the partial variables of interpersonal communication has tcount = 3.751 with the TTable 2.00 so tcount> TTable be interpersonal communication significantly influence employee performance. emotional intelligence has tcount = 2.915 with the TTable = 2.00 so tcount> TTable so emotional intelligence significantly influence employee performance. Both also expressed their significance separately (tcount> TTable) means that each independent variable is interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence has a significant influence on the dependent variable is the performance of employees. Based on the research path analysis, the magnitude of the influence of interpersonal communication (X1) which is directly on the employee's performance (Y) is 17.4%. In addition to the magnitude of the effect of emotional intelligence (X2) which is directly on the employees performance (Y) 10.5%. While the magnitude of the effect of interpersonal communication (X1) of the employee's performance (Y) and moderated by emotional intelligence (X2) of 0.128. Thus the total effect of interpersonal communication (X1) of the employee's performance (Y) was 0.386 (38,6%) which means that the employee's performance variable (Y) is determined by interpersonal communication (X1) and emotional intelligence (X2). Conclusions of this study is that there are influences between interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence on the performance of employees in PT. Asuransi Raya.
