Abstract

ABSTRACT Hildayanti, 2016; The Influence of Situational Leadership Style and Job Characteristics on Employee Performance, Case Study at PT X Indonesia. Skripsi: Jakarta, Human Resource Management Concentration, Management Study Program, Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The purpose of the research are: 1) To know description for situational leadership style, job characteristics and employee performance at PT X Indonesia. 2) To determine whether there is an influence of situational leadership style to employee perfomance PT X Indonesia. 3) to determine whether there is an influence of job characteristics to employee performance at PT X Indonesia. 4) to determine whether there is an influence of situational leadership style and job characteristics simultaneously to employee performance at PT X Indonesia. 5) to know how far the contribution of situational leadership style and job characteristics at PT X Indonesia. This research is taken 37 employes in PT X Indonesia with sampling purposif. The techniques of data collection used by quesionnaires, which are then processed using SPSS 20.0. the research using Descriptive and explanatory analysis. The result of regression indicate that there is positive influence and significant between situational leadership style to employee performance and there is positif influence and significant between job characteristics to employee performance. Situational leadership style and job characteristics simultaneously positive influence and significant to employee performance through Fcount >F (17.907>3.28) and significant value (0.000<0.05). This research has figured out the score of situational leadersip style and job characteristics on employee performance is 0,513 or 51,3% through the result of R2 table value while the rest is 48,7% is influence by the other factors.
