Abstract

CINDY TRI HARTATI, 8105153606, The Effect of compensation and work environment on job satisfaction at employees of PT DYNAPLAST CILEUNGSI, Scriptis, Jakarta: Faculty of Economic, State University Of Jakarta, 2019. This research aims to find out whether there is an influence of compensation and work environment on job satisfaction at employees of PT DYNAPLAST. This research was conducted for four months, that is October - January 2019. The method used in this research is survey method. The population in this study was 120. With reference to the Isaac table then the number of samples in this study were 89 respondents. The technique of selecting respondents using propotional random sampling, using simple random method. For data collecting researchers using interview techniques and questionnaires with Likert scale. The three variables are Job Satisfaction (Y), Compensation (X1), and Work Environment (X2) is the primary data obtained from the dissemination of research questionnaires. Data analysis technique used is, first test requirement analysis consisted of test of normality and test of lineraritas. Both classical assumption tests consist of multicollarity test and heteroskedastistas test. The three multiple linear regression tests. Fourth hypothesis test that contains t test and F test. The last one is analysis of coefficient of determination. thitung on Compensation variable equal to 4,727 and Thitung for variable of work environment that is equal to. 2,777 Where ttabel equal to 1,66277, this means there is significant partial influence of Compensation and work environment to Job Satisfaction. Because thitung> ttabel. while for Test F, found the result Fcount of 17,127> Ftable value of 3.10. Where can be drawn the conclusion that there is influence simultaneously between variable Compensation and work environment to Job Satisfaction. because Fcount> Ftable. Multiple regression equation obtained result Ẏ = 37,047 + 0,465X1 + 0,258X2. R2 coefficient of determination value of 0.258. This means that Compensation (X1) and work environment (X2) variables affect Job Satisfaction (Y) by 28.5% Keyword: Job Satisfactions, Compensation, Work Environment
