Abstract

ARUM WAHYUNINGTIAS. 8105120474. The Effect of Organizational Commitment and Work Stress on Turnover Intention of PT. X Employees. 2019 This research aimed to determine the effect of organizational commitment and work stress on turnover intention of PT X employees. The research was conducted three months from May to July 2019. The research method used was the survey method. The sample used was census, it is sampling technique if all members of the population were used as samples. Data on variable of turnover intention (Y), organizational commitment (X1) and work stress (X2) were primary data using a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques used SPSS 25.0. The t-test X1 (-2,781) <ttable (-2,2005) could be concluded that there was a significant negative effect between organizational commitment to turnover intention. Then tcount X2 (3,176)> t table (2,005) could be concluded that there was a significant positive effect between work stress on the turnover intention. The results of the Ftable test produced Fcount of 9,050> Ftable of 3.175, this meant that simultaneously X1 and X2 had an influence on Y. Based on the results of the analysis it had the equation of Ŷ = 20,366-0.161 X1 + 0.313 X2. Test the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0,258, it is variable X1 and X2 accounted for 25,8% of the influence of Y and the remaining 74,2% was influenced by other factors.
