Abstract

MIA AUDINA TIRTA RUSMANA 8015128046. The Correlation between Job Insecurity and Occupational Self-Efficacy for employees of PT. Temprina Media Grafika Bekasi. Thesis, Jakarta: Economic Education Study Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University 2019. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between Job Insecurity and Occupational Self-Efficacy on employees of PT. Temprina Media Grafika Bekasi. This research was conducted for three months from May 2019 to July 2019. The research method used was a survey method with a correlational approach. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Temprina Media Grafika Bekasi, amounting to 62 people. The sampling technique used was sampling jenuh technique (census), so that the sample in this study amounted to 62 respondents. The instrument used to obtain data on variable X (job insecurity) and variable Y (occupational self-efficacy)) was measured using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The data analysis technique starts with finding the regression equation obtained is Ŷ = 91.37 - 0.382 X. The results of the Liliefors normality test produce Lcount = 0.049 while Ltable = 0.112 because Ltest <Ltable then the variables X and Y are normally distributed. Testing the hypothesis with regression significance test results in Fcount of 17.26 and Ftable of 4.00. Fcount (17.26)> Ftable (4.00) which means the regression equation is significant. The regression linearity test produces Ftables of 1.83 and Fcount of 0.69. Fcount (0.69) <Ftable (1.83) so it is concluded that the regression equation is linear. Furthermore, the product moment correlation coefficient is tested to produce r count = -0,486. Then the correlation coefficient significance test was carried out using the t-test. produce tcount (-4.31)> t table (-1.671). Based on the results of the study concluded that there is a relationship between work insecurity and occupational self-efficacy in employees of PT. Temprina Media Graphic. With the test of the coefficient of determination, the results of 23.67% of eating can be concluded that there is a negative and significant relationship between work insecurity and occupational self-efficacy.
