Abstract
TOMMY SA'ADILLAH. RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE BRAND IMAGE WITH CONSUMER CONFIDENCE ON CITIZENS RW 06. North Utan kayu Thesis east Jakarta, Jakarta: Tata Commerce Education Study Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, June 2015. This study aimed to obtain information and knowledge based on valid data or facts and valid, true and trustworthy about how much the relationship between brand image with the consumer confidence in the residents of RW 06 north utan kayu east of Jakarta. This study used survey method with purposive method. The independent variable is the brand image and consumer confidence as the dependent variable. The population in this study is a resident of RW 06 north Utan kayu, while the population of inaccessibility is a resident of RT 05/06 Utan northern wood. 44 resident used as a sample. The sampling technique used in this research is by accident, because the expected criteria for samples obtained really fit. Researchers took as many as 42 residents based tables Issac and Michael with an error level of 5%. Data analysis techniques starts with finding a simple linear regression equation and derived regression equation Y = 11.065 + 0.853 X. From the calculation of the regression equation y = 11.065 + 0.853 X indicates that each increase of one brand image scores (variable X), then it will lead to an increase in consumer confidence (variable Y) of 0.853 at 10.065 constants. Results of this study have proved the existence of a positive relationship between brand image with consumer confidence at RT 05/06 east Jakarta north Utan kayu. This means that if the better the image of the brand, the higher the level of consumer confidence.
