Abstract

MADINATUL SYAFITRI. 8105151561. The Influence of Work Discipline And Organizational Commitment On Employee Performance At Badan Pengawas Tenaga Nuklir. Essay. Jakarta: Economic Education Study Program, Faculty Of Economics, Jakarta State University, 2019. This study aims to determine the influence of work discipline and organizational commitment on employee performance at the nuclear power regulatory agency. This research is calculated from March to June 2019. The research method used is the survey method with multiple regression approaches. The population in this study were all employees of the Nuclear Energy Supervisory Agency totaling 370 employees, the study sample was 177 employees. The technique used is a simple random technique. Data has been normally distributed and has a linear relationship. Based on the classic assumption test, in the multicollinearity test there is a Tolerance value of work discipline and organizational commitment of 0.944> 0.1 VIF value of 1.060 <10 While the heteroscedasticity test results through the glejser test significant value of work discipline 0.099> 0.05 and Organizational Commitment 0.065> 0.05. Then the regression equation obtained is yaitu = 35.167+ 0.205X1 + 0.330X2. Based on the hypothesis test consisting of the F test and the T test. First, based on the F test then (F count> Ftable), which is equal to 38,611> 3.05. Second, based on the t test, then (Tcount> Ttable), namely work discipline of 4,333> 1,653 and organizational commitment amounted to 7,479> 1,653. Based on the test of the coefficient of determination, work discipline and organizational commitment simultaneously have an effect on employee performance by 35.4% while the remaining 64.6% is influenced by other factors not examined. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant influence between work discipline and organizational commitment to employee performance at the Nuclear Energy Supervisory Agency. Therefore, the work discipline variables should comply with established regulations, increase attendance, and take responsibility for work. whereas in the organizational commitment variable with indicators of identification of taste, involvement, and desire to survive with the organization, the lowest is the desire to survive with the organization. therefore the organization should be able to provide more motivation to increase employees' desire to survive with their organization. Keywords: Work Discipline, Organizational Commitment, and Employee Performance.
