Abstract
Staff performance is very crucial in the sustainability of the company. Some factors that are thought to strongly affect performance are organizational culture, work environment and job satisfaction. Thus, this study aims to examine the influence of organizational culture and work environment on the performance of Seskoal soldiers by being mediated by job satisfaction. This study uses quantitative methods with data obtained through instruments in the form of questionnaires with a Likert scale assessment. With a total of 137 Seskoal soldiers. Data from the questionnaires were further analyzed using the Partial Least Square technique with the help of the Smart PLS program. Based on the results of the analysis in this study, several conclusions are obtained as follows: (1) Organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on soldier performance; (2) The work environment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of soldiers; (3) Job Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on the performance of soldiers; (4) Organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on soldier job satisfaction; (5) Work environment has a positive and significant effect on the job satisfaction of servicemen; (6) Job satisfaction can mediate the influence of organizational culture on performance and (7) Job satisfaction can mediate the influence of the work environment on performance. In general, the conclusions obtained from the results of this study are that the organizational culture and work environment of a good Seskoal soldier will increase the job satisfaction of soldiers which will further improve the performance of Seskoal soldiers.
